I had the honor of work with Claude T. Smith in band camp at Sam Houston State University prior to becoming a Navy Musician. He told us that we were premiering Bainbridge Fair. Very much, a Grade 2 piece. Easy to learn in a short span. We only had one week until performance. Sounds more complex than what you find on the sheet music. But, that is the charm of his works. Short piece. 2:25. Great for stacking concert or contest sets.
