Statement About The Work
This march, which at one time was relegated to the fate of the multitude of pieces to only survive in manuscript form, can now be thankfully shared with wind bands everywhere! Marche Triumphant is a title that evokes exactly what you will hear in this exciting selection, but make no mistake, the woodwind parts are no slouch either, as they compete for supremacy with the brass all the way to the end, in a manner that only Claude T. Smith can do! It was my pleasure to get this march ready for publication, and I hope that it is enjoyed by bands for years to come.
